  • Now gently mix the all ingredients (mentioned in the marinating section) in the large bowl so that the marination coat over the paneer evenly.
  • Cover this bowl and marinate for a minimum of 20 minutes or you can take up to1 hour in a refrigerator. but 20 min. is ok

For Making Paneer Tikka

  • Paneer Tikka can be prepared in oven as well as in stove-top pan also you can make paneer tikka. here i'm discussing oven
  • Before you begin Preheat the oven to almost 200 deg celcius for 15 minutes. Now make a cover of aluminium foil on the baking tray and place the threaded & marinated paneer, capsicum and onion on the tray.
  • Now grill the paneer cubes and veggies in the oven at 200 deg cesius or 350 deg Foenhite for 10-15 minutes (depends on the oven temp. & quantity of the marinated items)
  • During grilling remove tikka halfway and turn them to other side for rest of the 5-8 minutes. Remove when paneer gets grilled
  • During this grilling process just keep an eye on the oven and remove the paneer tikka while it turns golden and crisp.

For making Puree for Gravy

  • Heat the oil in the oil pan and add chopped onion (that you kept aside for the Masala gravy) , and saute them until onion turns a little golden on medium flame.
  • Add red chilli powder and Garam Masala to the onions . Sauté for the next 2 minutes until a rich aroma of the spices emerges.
  • Introduce tomatoes, cashews, sugar, and salt to the mixture, and sauté until the tomatoes become mushy.
  • Once the tomatoes are soft and mushy, turn off the flame and let the mixture cool completely.
  • Transfer the cooled mixture of tomatoes and onions into a blender. Add some water and blend into a smooth puree

Final steps for Paneer Tikka Masala

  • Heat the same oil pan that you used for the items to prepare puree with 2 teaspoon of oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 1 minute or till its raw smell disappears. Now add tomato puree (be watchful as it may splash) .Stir well until you see traces of the oil on the top and the sides of the puree
  • Add red chilli powder for brighter look ( but do it by following taste and add method),Add turmeric, chilli, coriander and garam masala powder,Stir so nicely that all these masala(spices) get mixed with this puree evenly… keep stirring
  • Now add water to the gravy .Cover the preparation and allow it to cook until the gravy achieves a desirable thickness, accompanied by the appearance of traces of oil. Remember to intermittently stir the mixture
  • Once the gravy attains a thick yet pourable consistency, gently crush kasoori methi between your palms and evenly sprinkle it over the gravy.
  • Taste the gravy and add salt to your taste.
  • Now add Grilled paneer Tikka to this Masala Gravy.Cook for 1-2 min. mix gently in between. Now Garnish With cream and add some fresh chopped coriander leaves. Put off the Flame
  • Serve this Paneer Tikka masala with the Roti,Naan or Rice.
